The day before your check in we put through a one-off authorisation hold from your card on file. Don't be alarmed, this is just a hold on the funds until after your stay.

Just like checking into a hotel and scanning your card with the concierge, this one's to keep us safe if anything goes wrong, gets broken out there or if you use any of our extra provisions like firewood or booze. 

Any unused money will be automatically released back to your card once we receive our check out report from the cabin manager or five days after you head off.
